Telehealth Availability

I currently offer telehealth sessions only, providing a convenient and flexible way to access therapy. Telehealth eliminates the need for travel and allows you to attend sessions from the comfort and privacy of your own space, whether it is your home, office, or any other private location.

Sessions are conducted using a HIPAA-compliant video platform accessible via your preferred electronic device—phone, tablet, or computer. All intake and consent forms are delivered through a secure, encrypted Electronic Health Record (EHR) system that you'll have access to via a private client portal.

To ensure confidentiality and maximize the therapeutic experience, clients should have a reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free environment. If you have questions or would like to see if we may be a good fit, I offer a free consultation.

Therapeutic Modalities

I take an eclectic approach to therapy, tailoring sessions to each individual’s unique needs and preferences. This flexible and personalized style allows me to support clients at any stage in their healing journey. My work draws from the following evidence-based modalities:

  • Attachment-Based Therapy- This approach focuses on how your early relationships, especially with caregivers, may affect how you connect with others today. It helps you build healthier, more secure relationships and feel more emotionally supported.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)- CBT helps you notice and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. It teaches practical tools to manage anxiety, stress, or low mood and helps you feel more in control of your emotions.
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy- EMDR helps you process and heal from traumatic or upsetting memories using bilateral stimulation. This helps your brain reprocess the memory in a way that reduces its emotional impact, so it feels less distressing over time.
  • Person-Centered Therapy- This approach is all about you. It creates a safe, supportive space where you feel truly heard and accepted, allowing you to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
  • Psychodynamic Therapy- This approach helps you understand how past experiences and deeper emotions may be shaping your current struggles. Gaining insight into these patterns can lead to emotional growth.
  • Solution-Focused Therapy- This approach is structured and goal-oriented to help you focus on what’s working and where you want to go rather than focusing on the problem. This therapy highlights your strengths and supports you in finding practical, realistic steps toward positive change.
  • Strength-Based Therapy- This approach centers on your unique abilities and positive qualities. Rather than only focusing on difficulties, it helps you recognize and use your strengths to tackle challenges and move toward your goals. It’s all about building on what is already working well in your life.

Culturally Informed Practice

As a Native American therapist, I bring a culturally competent perspective to my work—especially when working with Native/Indigenous communities. I incorporate an understanding of Pueblo traditional beliefs, values, and practices, along with the unique challenges and barriers these communities often face.

While I have specialized experience with Native/Indigenous clients, I welcome individuals from all backgrounds and identities, and am committed to fostering a respectful, therapeutic space for everyone.
